Lion costume ideal for Book DayC.S Lewis is one of the greatest children’s fictional of all time, having created the epic Chronicles of Narnia series. Written originally between 1949 and 1954, the chronicles have sold over 100 million copies in 47 languages, capturing the imagination of millions of children and adults across the globe. There is a total of seven titles in the series; The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian: The Return to Narnia, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair, The Horse and His Boy, The Magician’s Nephew and The Last Battle.
Since the first being published the books has become popular TV series’, radio programmes, a play and now Box office hit films. They are classic stories that have been told from generation to generation through many mediums, with the magical story of Edmund, Peter, Susan and Lucy still as popular as ever.
This is an ideal costume theme for World Book Day, especially as the books have recently been adapted to Hollywood blockbusters and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader recently coming to the big screen. There are so many characters to dress as from The Chronicles of Narnia; Aslan, Prince Caspian, Susan, Peter, Edmund, Lucy and the wicked White Witch.

Evacuee Costume
WHY IT’S AWESOME: This is the ideal costume if your daughter loves the characters Susan and Lucy. She will look as if she has just stepped out of the book.
WHAT IT INCLUDES: Dress with Headband.
Evacuee Boy Costume
WHY IT’S AWESOME: If your son loves the thought of being a long lost King, then there is no better costume than this. Ideal to be worn as Peter or Edmund.
WHAT IT INCLUDES: Shorts, blazer, and school cap.
Medieval Warrior King Costume
WHY IT’S AWESOME: This is a costume where your son can become either Prince Caspian, King Edmund or King Peter. In this costume he will look ready to commence battle with the Telmarines.
WHAT IT INCLUDES: Headpiece with cowl, velvet tunic and boot tops.
Lion Costume
