New Costume in - Crusader CostumeTurn back time to the Medieval era, which ran from 500 CE (Common Era) to 1500 CE, and let your child find out what it must have been like to be a Knight or Lady. The Medieval era or Middle Ages was the time for Kings, Lords, Ladies, Peasants, Popes, Monks and Knights.
During that period one of the most famous battles of all time took place- The Battle of Hastings. The battle took place in 1066, when King Harold was defeated by William the Conqueror. The battle between England and Normandy began with a disagreement over who should be crowned King. William of Normandy was promised the crown previous to Edward the Confessor’s death. However William was refused the crown, and this fuelled his desire to conquer England. Since the great battle many books about the subject have come into circulation and it still remains one of the greatest stories ever told.
The Middle Ages was also the time of Sir Lancelot, a knight of King Arthur’s Round Table. Lancelot is infamous for his loyalty towards King Arthur and the role he played in the search for the Holy Grail.
