Happy World Book Day! We all hope you have an amazing day dressed up as your favourite fictional character.

World Book Day is a fantastic event to get your children involved with books, whether they are historical or fictional. It’s a great way of getting children involved and excited about the wider world and immersed in some of the greatest stories and characters in literature; it is also is a fun and immersive form of learning.

With many books such as Harry Potter and Twilight becoming extremely popular books with people of all ages, especially children, we are sure to see many little Harry, Hermione, Ron and Edwards around the schools. It is great to see that no matter how much information we can get off the internet people still love to read books and get involved with the characters that are created. Book Day is a brilliant time to celebrate the great works that have come through the publishing industry that have captured our imaginations.

From the works of William Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde to Stieg Larsson and Stephanie Meyer there are many characters we have all fallen in love with and so many we can dress up as for this fantastic event.
