'Wake me up before you Go Go' to the fanstastic 80's themed Pop festival 'Rewind'! We were gutted at AFD Towers that none of us were attending this year's Rewind Festival, a festival that celebrates all thats cool about the 1980's. The festival, which is based in Henley, attracted around 20,000 festival goers on each day to see performances by such ultra cool musicians as Kim Wilde, Howard Jones and the Human League. And as befits music festivals nowadays the fancy dress costumes were everywhere to be seen and included comic book and cartoon characters and bright 'big hair' wigs, tutus and leg warmers (the 80's were so cool and kitsch!) The event kicked off on Friday night with an opening party featuring a silent disco, and of course great live music. Promoter David Heartfield concluded: “It was a really good weekend. The sun was shining and there was a great bunch of bands. It’s amazing how the festival keeps growing and growing.' That's because the 80's are so cool David! Now where did I leave my tutu?
