It's location in The Lake District is perhaps one of the most beautiful of all the festivals going ahead this Summer, but that’s not why it’s one of our favourites! The reason we love Kendal Calling Festival so much is because of the fantastic Fancy Dress parade and celebrations that now take place as tradition every year.

Festival-goers, young and old go all out as they don costumes and painted faces to enjoy the themed festival areas and family activities.  

So get ready to feel the good vibrations as this year’s fancy dress theme is all about taking a trip back to 1967 and The Summer of Love. Yes. The 60’s hippie movement is coming to the Lakes and we couldn’t be happier about it. Think florals, psychedelic prints, flower crowns and tinted sunglasses of all colours! You could pair together some flared trousers and a funky tie-dye T-shirt. Find a the perfect floaty dress, or one of our Carnival Jackets will give off perfect Sgt Pepper vibes.
