On the first Thursday of March each year children all over the world dress up as their favourite book characters to celebrate Book Day. The charity has now been encouraging and helping children realise their love of books and reading for 25 years and we think that deserves a proper celebration!

Send out your invites
Book Day this year falls on Thursday 3rd March and we think that’s the best day to host your party! Children will already be in their fancy dress costumes and should have hopefully chosen their free book, after being provided with the £1 book token at school. Sort the Snacks
Next you’ll be needing lots of goodies to feed all those hungry minds! To keep things as simple as possible we suggest stealing your inspiration from a typical afternoon tea menu.
