One week remains after this one and the darkness of Halloween begins to seep into our minds ready for any parties or events in the next week! So it’s time to watch some classic Halloween films and musicals.


 The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) 15

 When a couple becomes stuck in a storm because of a flat tire they choose to head towards a creepy  mansion they had discovered. Upon reaching the mansion they are greeted by its owner Dr. Frank-N-  Furter a scientist with a twist. Slowly the couple begins to lose their innocence from meeting wild and  wacky characters through dance numbers and rock songs so that the couple would stay to see Frank’s  new creation.






 Little Shop of Horrors (1986) PG

 When a struggling flower shop owner named Seymour discovers an unusual plant during an eclipse. As  the plant continues to grow it is soon discovered that it only feeds from human flesh and blood, Eventually  this new plant attracts a lot of business in the shop but things become difficult when the Seymour feeds  his co-workers boyfriend to the plant and now he must find a way to keep a constant supply of “food” for  the plant.






 Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) 18

 When a London Barber is transported to Australia for a crime he didn’t commit by a judge who is in love  with the wife of the barber. The barber later returns 15 years later in cover of the new name Sweeney  Todd who has gone mad and now murders any unlucky customers to his barber shop and sending them  down to a lady named Mrs. Lovett who begins to make pies out of the meat. His secretive murders will not  stop until he has killed the judge who sent him away.






 Phantom of the Opera (2004) 12

 When a phantom who lives beneath a 19th century opera house in Paris desires to get closer to a vocalist  by the name of Christine Daae he creates a plan in order to keep Christine by his side for ever when she  falls for a man by the name of Raoul. The phantom wears a masquerade mask to hide his phantasmal  disfigurement and goes through from Christine and is having his plan foiled by Raoul to save the vocalist.






 Halloween (1978) 18

 When a six year old boy is locked away for 15 years after brutally murdering his 17 year old sister he is  bound to go insane. After escaping his imprisonment when being transferred someplace else he  returns to his hometown in search for his next victims! Can he be stopped?







 Dawn of the Dead (1978) 18

 Yet another zombie movie and this one is praised and said to be not only one of the best zombie  movies ever but one of the best movies of all time!
 When hordes of zombies continue to infect the US population. Every city and countryside town provide  no safety to anybody. So when a radio station employee his girlfriend and some renegade SWAT  members enclose themselves in a shopping centre and make a final stand against the growing horde  of corpses.





 The Exorcist (1973) 18

 Based loosely on real events we follow the story of a worried mother as her young daughter starts to  act odd, speaking in tongues and even levitating. After seeking medical help from doctors and  psychiatrists she turns to get help from the local priest who believes she may be possessed by the devil  himself. The decision to perform an exorcism is made and the church sends a specialist to help fend of  this demon and save the girl. But will it work?



With hundreds of classic horror films out there picking out a single character to dress up could be quite difficult however simply choose the film you enjoy the most and the character you think you could act as the best. With a variety of Halloween fancy dress outfits and accessories to combine together and make the best costume this Halloween as next week is the last!
